We come to IC to reunite with friends from around the world, celebrate our Judaism, and meet new people who quickly become family. International Convention is a space where memories are made, ideas are shared, and BBYO’s values truly come to life. One of the most exciting and meaningful parts of each year is the lineup of guest speakers and performers who take the stage. These guests help shape the energy of the convention, inspire us, and create moments we talk about long after IC ends. However, most attendees don't get to see the months of planning, conversations, and hard work that go into bringing these people to IC—that is, unless you're part of ILN’s Talent Team.

This year, for ILN, I applied and was chosen to be part of the Talent Committee, a group of teens from all over the world who work behind the scenes to make the IC stage come alive. Being on Talent means getting hands-on experience with real-world scenarios. We work with talent ranging from actors to influencers, create interview and discussion questions, and collaborate closely as a team; all in hope of finding the best guests who think critically and best represent BBYO’s values. Along the way, we also form meaningful connections and friendships with Alephs and BBGs across the Order, united by a shared passion for making IC unforgettable.

Our journey began back in September, when we all met for the first time and started brainstorming our dream guests for the International Convention 2026 in Philadelphia. Ideas flew from every direction—everything from major pop stars to smaller TikTok creators who we believed had powerful voices and stories worth sharing. Every idea sparked discussion, excitement, and debate. But this was just the beginning of our journey. What followed were long Zoom calls, countless group messages, and plenty of differing opinions. Through it all, the Talent crew has stayed committed, putting in the time and effort to ensure who we have helped recruit to join us at IC connects to our teens, has a powerful story, and helps create the best experience at IC for all of us!

Of course, like any meaningful journey, there were ups and downs along the way. Not all ideas worked out, and not every conversation was easy. But, through those challenges, we grew, collaborated, and problem-solved. I can confidently say that today, Talent has put together the best guests possible to bring the IC stage to life. From Rebel Wilson to Yoel Levy and many more, this year's guests inspired, entertained and left a long-lasting impact. I hope everyone was blown away!

If you are also looking for meaningful and fulfilling experiences to bring with you to IC, join Talent for IC 2027!
