AZA & BBG INTERNATIONAL AUGUST EXECUTIVES CONFERENCE
August Execs is BBYO’s annual gathering of the highest-elected teen leadership (Teen Delegates) and a staff member (Staff Delegate) from every community across our Movement. During the conference, teens and staff come together to train on skills and strategies to finalize plans for the upcoming year. The conference will be filled with unique and exciting rotations, awesome programs, and special events.
Welcome to AZA & BBG International August Executives Conference!
As BBYO’s core leadership, we have the privilege of focusing on how to lead our communities, strengthen the impact of chapter and community programming, celebrate our chapters, and ensure that as many Jewish teens as possible have an opportunity to experience BBYO (and our partners) in more than 725 communities worldwide. As the world begins to look to a post pandemic era, it is an important moment to explore new ideas to launch in our communities and build relationships with leaders from around the world.

There are three key steps for all delegates to complete before they are fully ready for August Execs.
Step 1: All Staff and Teen Delegates must register using the links above by Friday, May 28.
Step 2: Schedule a meeting with all your Staff and Teen Delegates to work through your August Execs Prep Agenda.
We recommend doing this once in May/June and then again right before you leave in August!
Step 3: Sign up for the sessions and experiences you want to attend by Wednesday, June 30 (we’ll send a link in June).
The 97th Grand and 77th International Boards and the August Execs Planning Team are hard at work bringing you all the tools and strategies you need to make this year the best one yet for AZA & BBG. Each day will be filled with group experiences, small group training, time to network, and of course, planning time for your communities.

BBYO is committed to enforcing policy and procedures for all individuals at camp to ensure the health and safety of our communities during Summer 2021. While news and information about COVID is ever changing, we are continuously updating how our programs will be affected. BBYO is working to prepare the necessary measures to limit the spread of COVID-19 and to keep our teens, staff, and families healthy. We will continuously update our protocols based on the recommended guidelines issued by the CDC, American Camp Association (ACA), as well as federal and local state governments.
All staff attending must be fully vaccinated. Currently, Moderna, Pfizer, or Johnson & Johnson are the accepted vaccines, but additional vaccines will be added as the US’s Center for Disease Control (CDC) approves them. You must be two weeks after your second dose (unless Johnson & Johnson). While it is not mandatory, we strongly encourage all teens who are eligible to get vaccinated.
BBYO maintains the highest commitment to safety possible and the well-being of our participants is our number one focus. Visit the Special Policies & Procedures for Summer 2021 document to learn about our approach to navigating COVID-19 and keeping our teens, staff, and families healthy. We will continue to update our protocols based on the recommended guidelines issued by the CDC, as well as federal and local state governments.
