AZAÂ &Â BBG INTERNATIONALÂ AUGUSTÂ EXECUTIVESÂ CONFERENCE
August Execs is BBYO’s annual gathering of the highest-elected teen leadership (Teen Delegates) from every community across our Movement. During the conference, Alephs and BBGs come together to train on skills and strategies to finalize plans for the upcoming year. The conference will be filled with unique workshops, awesome programs, special events, and it will feature an International Business meeting.
Welcome to AZAÂ &Â BBGÂ International August Executives Conference!Â
We’re bringing it back to where it all began. This year's conference will take place from Wednesday, August 16 - Sunday, August 20 in Omaha, Nebraska—the birthplace of AZA. August Execs will serve as the in-person kickoff to BBYO’s Centennial Campaign (can you believe we’re turning 100?!). As BBYO’s core leadership, we have the privilege of focusing on how to lead our communities, strengthen the impact of chapter and community programming, celebrate our chapters, and ensure that as many Jewish teens as possible have an opportunity to experience BBYO in all 725 of our chapters worldwide.
If you have questions, here are some quick ways to get in touch:

There are three key steps for all delegates to complete before they are fully ready for August Execs.
Step 1: All Delegates must register using the links above by .Â
Step 2: Schedule a meeting with all your Staff and Teen Delegates to work through your August Execs Prep Agenda.
‍We recommend doing this once in May/June and then again right before you leave in August!
Step 3: Sign up for the sessions and experiences you want to attend in early August.
The 99th Grand and 79th International Boards and the August Execs Planning Team are hard at work bringing you all the tools and strategies you need to make this year the best one yet for AZAÂ &Â BBG. Each day will be filled with group experiences, small group training, time to network, and of course, planning time for your communities.
If you need the school excusal note, please feel free to edit and use this one!

BBYO is committed to enforcing policy and procedures for all individuals at camp to ensure the health and safety of our communities during Summer 2023. While news and information about COVID is ever changing, we are continuously updating how our programs will be affected. We will continuously update our protocols based on the recommended guidelines issued by the CDC, American Camp Association (ACA), as well as federal and local state governments. You can find our current COVID-19 Procedures here. ‍
The Executive Body, which consists of all council, regional, and country presidents, meets in-person twice a year and virtually throughout the year to vote on legislation from you and your peers to move us forward. We update the constitution, vote on our Movement Priorities, commit AZA and BBG to tackling big issues, introduce new campaigns and initiatives, and celebrate major achievements.
‍
One of the most beautiful parts of AZA and BBG is the ability for any member to have a voice in what they'd like to see for our Movement.
