Four days. What can change in four days?

approximately 1,080,000 people are born in 96 hours

approximately 460,000 people die in 5,760 minutes

approximately 22,400 million people search thing in google in 345,600 seconds

The “Instituto de Liderazgo Latinoamericano”, aka ILLA, is four days of apprenticeships, great memories, capacitations, unforgettable reunions with international friends and unique experiences. Boards members from Los Parceros (BBYO Colombia), Zeut (BBYO Uruguay), Jutzpa (BBYO Chile), the regional board from BBYO Argentina, and Los Chilangos (BBYO México) where invited to participate in this institute.

We all assisted in this second edition from IILA to learn and discuss the future of our regions. This not only made us bond between regions, but also managed to give us unique tools that we will undoubtedly be able to apply and promote in our regions.

Between long debates and lots of workshops, we found solutions to our problems, many questions, distinctive ideas, among other things. I can undoubtedly say that we took advantage of every opportunity we had through those days. We learned not only how to be leaders in BBYO, but also how to be one in our daily lives.

I got goosebumps just thinking about how significant this conference was and the effort and time that teens and staff dedicated to carrying out this program. Seeing 30 other teenagers sitting down, discussing issues that interested all of us, I felt strength, I felt power.

Power to listen to other voices, being able to  learn about others experiences.

Power to take advantage from all the opportunities that we have and generate uniques experiences

Power to decide not only about our future, but about the future teens of this institution.

Power to speak now and give voice to my opinions, knowing that I was listened

So I can say without doubt that in four days, I lived a whole life.
