We’ve all been there. Scrolling through Netflix for hours just to end up watching Mean Girls for the 99th time and reciting the whole movie alongside Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams (or it could just be me and my slight obsession with this iconic film).

I decided to share my all-time favorites, some classics, some movies you’ve probably seen a million times but never get sick of watching, and some that you never even knew existed (or maybe I just watch Mean Girls too much to care about any other movie), so that you never have to scroll through your Netflix with no clue what to watch ever again!

But hold on, it even gets better. I sorted them out in categories based on how you are feeling, and also added some Jewish themed ones, too. Thank me later, and let's get started.

1. Movies for a good laugh.

Don’t Mess With the Zohan (2002) - People either love or hate this movie, there is no in between. You should check it out! Bonus fact: Adam Sandler was a BBYO member as a teen, too. Movie Trailer

Liar, Liar (1997) - Don’t lie to yourself, you know you loved this movie. Movie Trailer

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs (2009) - You are obligated to have snacks while watching this one. It has to be one of my favorite animated movies, like ever. Movie Trailer

2. Movies to cry your heart out.

Hatchi - A Dog’s Tale (2009) - My sister and I cried for over an hour after the movie finished. It will definitely get in your feels. Movie Trailer

My Girl (1991) - All I’m gonna say for this one is get some tissues. Get ready for ending. Movie Trailer

The Land Before Time (1988) - I remember being a kid watching this cartoon, and my mum told me I refused to talk to her and my dad after watching it because of how sad I was. Movie Trailer

Boy In the Striped Pajamas - I don’t even know how I had the energy to wipe my tears after this one. Movie Trailer

3. Movies when you really can’t deal with High School for any longer.

High School Musical (2006) - Sharpay Evans is one of the most iconic characters in cinematic history. You can’t change my mind. Movie Trailer

Clueless (1995) - I binge-watched this one when I took a break from Mean Girls. What can I say, I love teen comedy movies. Movie Trailer

The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012) - I’ve said it a million times and I’m saying it again. The book should be a mandatory reading for teens in school, and the movie is quite good. Movie Trailer

The Edge of Seventeen (2016) - I didn’t have high expectations for this movie, but it really turned out to be great and amazed me. A very relatable high school movie. Movie Trailer

4. Fun movies before BBYO events.

3 Idiots (2009) - Bare with me here please, give it a chance, it’s really good. Movie Trailer

Harry Potter (2001-2011) - Admit it, you compared BBYO to Hogwarts before. Movie Trailer

The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants (2005) - Anyone wanna make a BBG Sisterhood of traveling pants? It doesn’t have to be pants, it could be a special BBG sweatshirt, it could be fun! Movie Trailer

Ice Age (2002) - This one will really get you pumped for all of the adventures that await for you and your friends. Movie Trailer

5. Honorable mentions that didn’t make the list or don’t fit any categories you should watch.

The Blind Side (2009)

A Serious Man (2009)

Jawbreaker (1999)

Crossroads (2002)

Mortdecai (2015)

Date Night (2010)

A Quiet Place (2018)

Cube (1997)

One Day (2011)

John Tucker Must Die (2006)

A Bug’s Life (1998)

Bridget Jones’s Diary (2001)

And that’s about it for this list. Now, if you still don’t feel like watching any of these, Mean Girls will always accept you with open arms. Some of these are really good to watch with your sister BBG’s on sleepovers or just when you hang out. Hope you use this listen next time you are trying to find a fun movie to watch.
