for the National March for Israel

Tell Us You're Coming

Next Tuesday, November 14, the American Jewish community and its allies across the country are planning to hold the largest pro-Israel event in American history! Tens of thousands of citizens will unite on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. to show support for Israel, advocate for the immediate release of the hostages held by Hamas, and to take a stand against antisemitism and all hate.

March for Israel is co-sponsored by the Jewish Federations of North America and the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations. BBYO is proud to join with hundreds of Jewish organizations as a sponsor. We are thrilled that so many in our community and across the BBYO Movement have already declared interest in attending the March for Israel. For those who feel comfortable making the trip, we hope to see as many BBYO teens, alumni, families, supporters, and friends as possible, making their voice heard at this historic and important event.

BBYO is not formally staffing home housing or transportation—we encourage you to connect and work with your local community to confirm your travel to DC. Most local Jewish Federations are organizing community transport to the March, and BBYO is warmly invited to join those efforts. If you (teens, alumni, or friends of BBYO) need help connecting with your local Jewish Federation, email us at azabbg@bbyo.org.

BBYO will be providing meetup locations both before and during the March, as well as BBYO shirts, hats, buttons, rally signs, water, and snacks. We’ll also have a delegation ‘spot’ on the National Mall at the rally that we’d love for you be a part of, so let us know if you’re coming.

Check out the full line-up of BBYO’s activities throughout the March for Israel. If you have any questions, be in touch at azabbg@bbyo.org.

BBYO's National March for Israel Events

Monday, November 13

Join BBYO Northern Region East as we host a March for Israel pre-Rally gathering in Rockville with inspiring special guests, opportunities to help prep for Tuesday’s March (making signs, prepping snacks, writing letters and showing support to the IDF and BBYO’s sister Movement in Israel, Maccabi Tzair) and more. Teens, parents, and community members are invited to be a part of the evening’s festivities.

There will also be a special event for parents with nationally renowned teen wellness experts and Israel diplomats/educators to offer advice and support given what’s happening in Israel and the Middle East.

All members of the BBYO community, as well as the local Jewish teen community, who may be in DC Monday evening from out of town ahead of the March are welcome to join.

While RSVP is not required, let us know here if you’re planning to join us for Monday evening’s special event to receive location and program specific information here.

Tuesday, November 14

BBYO is offering two meetups on the day of the March:

Meetup #1:
We will gather between 8:00 AM–11:00 AM at BBYO’s DC Hub (at 14th and F St. NW) and walk over to the student pre-rally event. We are also expecting a special guest speaker to stop by our Hub that morning so come on by for an outstanding start to the day!

Meetup #2: We will also meet up at a second location at the National Mall (exact location to be shared closer to Tuesday) for those who may be going directly to that location.

We are providing BBYO t-shirts, signs, and buttons at the first Meetup make our presence felt—we encourage all teens, alumni, parents, and supporters to join us! Please let us know if you’re planning to attend and/or meet up with us in Washington, DC, by completing this form. You can also keep up to date on everything related to the March, including activities, transportation options, and more, on this page. We will be consistently updating with new and relevant information.

Tell Us You're Coming

In addition, a pre-rally event for middle school, high school, and college students, Students United for Israel, will take place near the main stage of the March starting at 11:30 AM. This event will feature special guests, social media influencers, and students who have been on the front lines for Israel. BBYO will be participating in this event, which will flow into the main program. Special guests to be announced soon.

Again, please note, BBYO International is not formally staffing home housing, transportation, or other activities associated with the March for Israel. This means that BBYO will not be responsible for enforcing its Code of Conduct or providing its own security at the Rally. Security is being organized by the primary organizers of the March for Israel.

Transportation 🚌

Most local Jewish Federations and local Jewish communities are organizing subsidized or free community transportation to the March (through local DC-area public transportation, community carpools, community organized buses, and recommended flights).

BBYO encourages its members, alumni, and friends of the Movement who are looking for easy ways to DC to take advantage of these options.

You can check here for your local Jewish Federation's contact information. If you (teens, alumni, or friends of BBYO) need help connecting with your local Jewish Federation, email us at azabbg@bbyo.org. More information on transportation options will be posted here as additional opportunities become available.

In Partnership

BBYO is proud to support student participation alongside the American Zionist Youth Council (BBYO, Bnei Akiva, Club Z, Habonim Dror, Hashomer Hatzair, Maccabi, NCSY, NFTY, Students Supporting Israel, Tzofim, USY, Young Judaea), the Foundation for Jewish Camp, Hillel International, and Prizmah).

The March for Israel’s pre-Rally event ‘Students United for Israel’ is generously sponsored by Root One.
