THE GLOBAL TREASURY OF AZA & BBG
The International Service Fund (ISF) is AZA's and BBG's treasury that allows Alephs and BBGs to be engaged in the affairs of the global Jewish community. There are three main ways we allocate money we raise for the ISF. This fund provides scholarships for teens around the world to attend BBYO's immersive experiences, serves as the pool of money from which we make donations to charities on behalf of the Grand and International Orders, and allows us to support communities in times of need. The AZA and BBG Executive Bodies determine how the ISF is allocated.
As BBYO members around the world come together to celebrate the season of giving and soon, Hanukkah, our Movement will come together to celebrate and support AZA and BBG's teen treasury, the International Service Fund (ISF). This fund is our platform to allocate need-based scholarships, dollars for disaster relief, and philanthropic contributions to charities we support. Learn more about the International Service Fund.
At the beginning of December, we raised $2,913 for the International Service Fund by hosting a donut eating contest. We are so thankful to everyone who made this fundraiser a success!

What was the deal? The International Service Fund (ISF) is AZA & BBG's treasury that allows our members to be engaged in the affairs of the global Jewish community. We knew that the 95th Grand Board and the 75th International Board loves food and a challenge.
What did we do? To raise money for the ISF, you guessed it, we had a donut eating competition live from our 75/95 Winter Board Retreat on Sunday, December 8, 2019.
Why did people donate? Because it was bigger than just satisfying the hunger of the 12 members of the International Board. We want to ensure that AZA & BBG have the means to support each other, our communities, and any group or cause that calls for our attention worldwide. Members and communities fundraise year-round for the ISF, but we asked you to help us spread some light this Hanukkah season. While you're receiving so many tangible and intangible gifts, it's a powerful moment to take the time to also give.
